Master Plan Public Meeting to be Held for Heritage Hollow Park

Bumblefluck, VA – The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation is proud to announce the development of a master plan for Heritage Hollow Park, a new local park dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history and cultural heritage of the land and its indigenous peoples. A public information meeting will be held on May 11, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at 234 Courthouse Road, Bumblefluck, VA.

Spanning 333 acres, Heritage Hollow Park will serve as a monument to the indigenous peoples who have shaped the region's history. The park will feature historically accurate replicas of Eastern Woodland native villages and showcase local indigenous-inspired art, providing visitors with an immersive and educational experience.

The purpose of the master plan is to guide the management and development of the park by identifying natural, cultural, and physical resources, as well as addressing community needs and engaging with the public.

This meeting will provide more information about the planning process, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and comment after the presentation.

The park's development aims to honor the history of the land and its indigenous peoples, offering a space for reflection, education, and appreciation of the area's rich cultural heritage.

The meeting will be broadcasted on local cable.
